Kicking warm up


The goal of this module is

  • to build flexibility, strengthen legs and increase endurance.

How it’s done

  1. Have children stand with enough space between each other to be able to kick without hitting another child
  2. Repeat each exercise a a few times to make it more or less difficult:
    • Kick leg up to touch opposite hand, then with the other leg
    • Hands on hips, knee up followed by leg kick up with one leg, then the other
    • Kick up and twist body and arms behind to the other side
